Method

Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup almond butter creamy/slated (about 1 cup+1tbsp).

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar.

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup.

  • 1tsp pure vanilla extract.

  • 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax + 5tbsp water, store and let it sit for 10-15 mins)

  • 1 tbsp coconut flour.

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda.

  • 1/2 tsp salt.

  • 1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips.

Directions

  • Preheat oven over 350F.

  • Lightly grease an 8x8 inch pan with coconut oil, non stick cooking spray or use paichment paper. 

  • In a large bowl combine almond butter, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, maple syrup and flax eggs until well combined.

  • add cacao, maca, coconut flour, salt and baking soda until well combined. 

  • add chocolate chips.

  • the batter will be the texture of a thick frosting, a bit like a dough. 

  • Spread batter in the prepared baking pan.

  • Bake for 22-28 mins until a fork or knife comes out clean, when inserted into tje center (a few crumbles is fine. Be careful not to overbake or they can come out crumbly)

  • Allow to fully cook before enjoying for the best results.

  • Enjoy your desert.
