Method

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Yellow Onion, chopped.

  • 2 Garlic cloves, chopped.

  • Roasted diced tomatoes (no salt added).

  • 4 medjool dates, pitted and hauled.

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar.

  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional).

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper.

  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon.

  • Pinch of ground clove.

Directions

  • Add all the ingredients to a sauce pan over medium heat and bring to boil.

  • Lower the heat to low flame and let it shimmer for 10 mins.

  • Transfer the sauce to a blender, blend it to a smooth, even consistency.

  • Transfer to an Air-tight container and store it in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
