
White Sauce Pasta
A dish that is perfectly creamy and rich with a great balance of flavor. The cashew, nutritional yeast and wine in the sauce bring a beautiful flavor to the dish.

Ingredients

4 qt water.
-
1 tbsp sea salt (optional).

1/2 lb gluten–free penne (or wheat, if you prefer).

150 grams herb tofu.

qty Bechamel
Directions

Take a container and boil peas.

Boil penne pasta and stir occasionally to avoid getting stick to the pan.

In a pan add olive oil and add herb tofu, boiled peas and basil leaves ans saute it well.

Add balachmel (white sauce) to it and cook for 2-5 mins.

Add boiled penne pasta to it and give a good mix.

Garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.
Note
Can use cashew bechamel in burgers, lasagna and a number of recipes to add a creamy, cheesy flavor and texture.
